Windsor’s waterfront is more than a beautiful riverfront. It is one of Windsor’s greatest opportunities for tourism, community development, and economic growth.
I will champion a long-term waterfront strategy that explores opportunities for carefully planned restaurants, cafés, public gathering spaces, seasonal attractions, and a landmark dancing fountain that could become a signature attraction for Windsor.
This vision could:

- Create new jobs for Windsor residents.
- Support local businesses and entrepreneurs.
- Attract visitors from across Ontario, Canada, and neighbouring Detroit.
- Create more year-round activity along the riverfront.
- Strengthen Windsor’s tourism economy.
- Diversify the local economy beyond the automotive sector.
- Give residents more places to gather, relax, and enjoy the waterfront.
Any waterfront development must protect public access, preserve green space, respect the environment, and reflect the priorities of Windsor residents.
With thoughtful planning, public consultation, and strong partnerships, Windsor can create a waterfront destination that generates economic activity while remaining accessible and enjoyable for everyone.
